Print

Do you want to spend time gaining quotes yourself? Do you know what to ask? Are you sure you are printing on the right paper? Or have asked for the right finishing options? There is nothing worse than to expect UV Varnish on the outer cover when you didn’t ask for it in the first place!

Shopping round for pricing can take days, you end up comparing prices which aren’t like-for-like and you don’t really know what you are looking at. So why not let us help you?

Look at us as independent print advisers. We take a best practice approach to ensure your magazine is printed cost effectively without affecting the quality.

We don’t print in-house, this is because depending on the pagination, quantity and other factors would depend on the type of printing presses best suited for your job. We have numerous contacts who can generate a bespoke quote for you. If you are happy with the price then they will invoice you direct (subject to their terms of business and conditions).

We appreciate a good business relationship is very important so if you have your own printing company then we can send files directly to them. However, if you would like to see if you are paying a good price for your printing then we can source a quote for you. If our bank of contacts can’t beat your price then at least you know your price is a good one. It’s nice to have the assurance as pricing can be very different.

We have found on many occasions that end-users have approached a local printing company to gain pricing to print their job and are often shocked at the price. That’s probably because they are not ideally set up to print your magazine as it could take longer to print yet smaller jobs, like leaflets and stationery, they could be better priced.

As a typical example, we met one of our client’s and found he was printing his magazine locally. He asked us to take a look at his pricing to see if we can do better. We obtained a quote that saved him in excess of £30,000 per year in printing costs. The saving made covered the cost of our design and production services. An all-win situation.

DISTRIBUTING YOUR MAGAZINE

Many methods of distribution are available. Let us find a route for you?

Many print companies are now including mailing in their services on site. This saves costs dispatching the magazine from the printing house to the mailing house.

As soon as the magazine is printed, it is moved next door – literally – to packaged, pre-sorted for the postal company before they pick it up.

PressStream facilities collate the magazines into geographical areas on-site which means that, because the magazine is being pre-sorted, the price of mailing is cheaper than the standard rate.

All you need do is to supply your mailing database direct to the printing company and they will do the rest.
The next thing – just sit back and wait for your magazine to be delivered.

If mailing is not your distribution method, then we have contacts that can distribute your publication through the many retail chains throughout the UK.

Due to the nature of localised door-to-door distribution we are unable to assist.
